Katherine is highly intellegent and clever. She is very observant and knows how to cover herself. She always knows more then she will ever let on which makes her rather manipulative. But she simply can not help herself since her number one goal in life is survival and it always has been. She is rather quick witted and loves good banter with anyone. She is always up for a good conversation. She is not one to let anyone have control over her. She hates being powerless in any situations. She does not like to be concierved as weak.
She is a vindictive vixen to say the least. Katherine is beautiful and knows it well. She loves to flirt and knows how to be seductive. Katherine is very playful and loved her own manipulative games. But she is also very selfish and almost unforgiving at times. She hates being crossed though she will betray those around her easy if it helps her. Her one goal in life always has been and always will be survival. Once anyone understands that they will understand Katherine....mostly.

Katherine has long black hair that has a curl to it. though on occasion she may straighten for the sake to look like her doppleganger. a pair of deep brown eyes seem to stand out on her face. They hide many secrets. She usually has dark make up surrounding them to extenuate her favorite feature. She has sharp cheeks bones that stand out on her face. Behind those soft lips of her hides her fangs that she may sport from time to time when she finds herself rather hungry.
Katherine has a unique sense of style it has certainly changed through the years to keep up with the times. She knows she is beautiful and knows how to cloth herself to be seductive. She liked to wear black and sometimes may sport a leather jacket. She knows fashion well she liked to look nice compared to her dopplganger counter part. Katherine loves a pair of spike heels and with only go without them if the need arises.
Katherine always wears a blue lapis lazuli necklace, made by Emily Bennett, to protect her from the sun. Katherine is very vain and narcissistic about her looks, and has no problem using her sexuality and her beauty to get what she wants.
HISTORY:
Katherine's was born somewhere in Bulgaria around 1475 and was born into a wealthy family who then disowned her due to her having a illegitimate daughter in 1490. Katherine became pregnant by an unknown man, carried the child to term and gave birth to a healthy girl her daughter was taken seconds after she was born, leaving Katherine devastated.
was turned into a vampire by Rose in 1492 in England after she was exiled out of Bulgaria by her family. She had her name anglicized possibly after coming to the United States. She was the Petrova doppelgänger and was supposed to be sacrificed to break the sun and moon curse in 1492, but escaped and became a vampire after hanging herself. Originally, she tried to commit suicide by stabbing herself with a knife, but Rose force fed her some of her blood to heal her, but when Rose turned her back, Katerina hung herself with a length of rope. Later, when she returned to Bulgaria, she discovered that her entire family had been slaughtered by Klaus as revenge for her having escaped him.
Katherine met Stefan and Damon Salvatore in 1864, near the end of the American Civil War, when she was staying at their home in Mystic Falls. She claimed to be an orphan who had lost her parents in a fire, and took her handmaiden Emily Bennett with her. Damon and Stefan fought over her during this time, which sparked their life-long rivalry. During her stay she had compelled Stefan to drink her blood, and Damon did it willingly and they got shot while trying to save her from being taken to the tomb to be destroyed once she was discovered to be a vampire thanks to Stefans father giving him her vervain.
It was believed that she died when soldiers set fire on civilians in a church in 1864. It was thought that Katherine was alive and was trapped with 26 other vampires in the crypt underneath the church for 145 years until Damon freed those trapped vampires. He learned to his great disappointment Katherine wasn't in the tomb. In fact she had been running free all this timethanks to a lovely deal she had made with a guard. She had promised to turn him if he saved her. Katherine wanted all of the vampires that were in the tomb dead, so they would not try to kill her for betraying them to save her own life, and so that Klaus couldn't find out from them that she was still alive.
Katherine created a few vampires during her years traveling the States.she stumbled upon Isobel a vampire made by her darling Damon. she could not help but like the woman as she leanred of her daughter. So Katherine used Isobel to retrieve the invention which can be harmful against vampires. She also gave Isobel a lapis lazuli medallion, thus enabling her to walk in the sun.
But Katherine could not stay away from Mystic Falls especially since her boys were back. She posed as Elena and fooled many by her deception. Katherine pretended to be Elena and kissed Damon passionately. Jenna, Elena's aunt, interrupted them and unknowingly invited Katherine into the house. She then spoke to John, who told her why he despised vampires so much, believing her to be Elena. Moments into the conversation, she then took a knife and chopped off his fingers, along with his ring and stabbed him.
Kahterine is back for many reasons. she has done more then make children during her time away. She has been collecting this and preparing for a few things. She's back in Mystica Falls for more then to met her dear twin Elena. One may be Stefan but there is defintily....a few things she's hiding.

Katherine stood in front of the boarding house her dark brown eyes taking it in. It certainly had changed over the years from when she had last in inhabited it. Sure she had been through town once since but she had not stood to take it in. Katherine moved walking up to the door her hand moving to the door knob not even bothering to knock. If her suspicions were correct she should be able to just walk into the house without an invitation. Even if there was a lock on the door it would break against her strength. Katherine moved picking up an empty glass from a tray. She closed her eyes for a moment taking in a deep breath and the smells surrounding her. She quickly moved opening her eyes finding a bottle of blood and she filled the glass with it for herself. She smiled as she held her glass to her lips smelling it before taking a sip. Never could be to safe these days. Her finger trailed across the surface of a table as she passed it. She stooped as he eyes landed on a leather bound book. Curiosity peaked for her and she moved to pick it up quickly opening up to see what it's insides held. "Well hello!"
could they have made this any easier for her. Things were going to be fun that was for sure. Things were only beginning and once they got going she was sure it was going to get harder. She tore her eyes away from the book surprised no one was home. "Back in the day I would have been welcomed into this house....My how things change." she commented musing to herself.
